The mission of The New England Cheerleaders Association, Inc., is to improve the quality of cheerleading in New England by teaching cheerleaders and coaches the basic elements of cheerleading and team building, which will enable them to progress safely.
The New England Cheerleaders Association provides basic cheerleading and safety techniques while having fun. N.E.C.A. provides comprehensive cheer camps which are based upon the following:

1. Emphasis on respect and team unity, which teaches teams to work together and cooperate in order to achieve their goals.

2. Assurance that teams work progressively toward their goals, first demonstrating basic skills and working toward more advanced skills.

3. Focus on creating favorable experiences for cheerleaders and coaches so that they leave camp feeling that they have made desirable changes and successful accomplishments.

4. Utilization of teaching methods which accentuate the positive, which enables cheerleading teams to have fun while learning.

In summary , we believe that we can help teams acquire education about proper cheerleading techniques, make friends and have fun, develop a unified relationship with their coach and teammates, and to find something that they are successful doing and can be proud of. This is our job.
